Education
Our long-term education programmes are based on our cradle to career approach. Through this holistic approach, we aim to promote the all-round development of our children at all developmental stages. From early child care programme to skill training for job placement, we support different age groups to achieve their full potential.

Our Programmes
Foundational Learning Program (BridgeEd)

The Foundational Learning Program (Bridge Ed) bridges educational gaps for out-of-school and dropout children from underprivileged migrant communities in Bangalore. Through the Open Basic Education (OBE) program, it provides structured learning for children aged 7-14, preparing them for formal schooling. OBE is implemented by the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) with the aim of providing primary and upper Primary Level education to those who are unable to attend formal school or have become school dropouts without attaining a school leaving certificate (TC)

Supporting children under the age of six who are siblings of school dropouts or out-of-school children aged six to fourteen years, as older siblings in these families often take on the responsibility of caring for their younger brothers and sisters. The project has significantly contributed to decreasing the number of school dropouts and out-of-school children over the age of seven.

AfterSchool

The After School Program is applicable for those children who were enrolled by Vonisha SF in formal schools like low-cost private schools and Government schools. As Vonisha works with first-generation learners, hand-holding these children after enrolling them at formal schools is very much needed. This Program is a tool and way forward for slow learners to stay focused. It reinforces the curriculum taught at formal schools during after schools hours .
